Strikes in France
Monday and Tuesday, 20% of the flights will be cancelled at Paris Orly airport
The travellers on departure or arrival of Orly airport on Monday and Tuesday 2 and 3 April 2012, will have to get information about their flight before going to the airport. The Head office of the civil aviation (DGAC) announced this week end that she asked the airline companies to remove 20% of the flights for these two days, because of a call to the strike of three trade unions of air-traffic controllers.
“The disturbances are to be envisaged on the whole territory” and in particular in the regional airports as from Sunday evening, a spokesperson also prevented.
Strike is due to a reform of the organization of work.
DGAC affirms however that the airport of Roissy-Charles-of-Gaulle will not be touched.
